This timepiece, celebrating the fusion of Swiss watchmaking and Japanese traditional crafts, features a diamond-set bezel surrounding a dial meticulously handcrafted by lacquer artist Yasuhiro Asai using ancient Japanese lacquer and shell inlay techniques. Asai layered and polished the black lacquer, extracted from the sap of trees he cultivated, and fashioned a shimmering motif only 0.2mm thick with finely cut pearl layers. It is a timepiece embodying harmony of light, artistry, and precision, equipped with an automatic movement.
